Qual è la differenza tra I have homework. e I do have homework. ?Sentiti libero di rispondere con un esempio.

I thought that "do" is only for negations and interrogatives sentences but I've seen "I do have homework"

It’s also for emphasis or to correct a negative statement.

Here are some examples of where you might use it:

-You don’t have any homework today, right?
-What? I do have homework. I have a lot, actually.

-You don’t have any homework today, right?
-I don’t think so. Oh, wait! I just remembered, I do have homework.

-You should come study with us!
-I do have homework. Sure, I’ll come! (Homework is a reason to come study with them)
