Ironically, this system of nationwide mobilization led to social improvements in Japan in terms of welfare and equal treatment of men and women workers, as well as a drastic increase in the percentage of children going on to middle school. The system was abolished after Japan's defeat in August 1945 but it subconsciously transmuted into part of/ingrained into Japan's social infrastructure, functioning as an invisible war legacy that would support Japan's subsequent reconstruction and rapid growth of its economy. sembra naturale?

@dorami-09 He sounds like a nice person!!! Working in a factory sounds like it would be fun for a few days but then quickly become boring. Not to mention a "little" dangerous. He and his classmates deserved more cookies I am sure!!

@dorami-09 :( I suppose it is entirely understandable he would have felt that way during such a time, but it feels sad still. It wasn't his fault that a war was going on at all!! He wasn't a bad person either, so he most definitely did not deserve it! More cookies and tea breaks for Tezuka and his friends both in Japan and across the Pacific!!!!!
