my answer:
I think that the first effect of pollution on the global environment is pollution of water.
Water which river and sea have is polluted by factories. Then many fishes are killed by eating toxic substance and person who eat these fishes will have disease .And it is difficult to cure this disease. We have to prevent pollution of water. Then I have two solutions to this problem .I think that the first solution is that governments make new law which ristrict pollution for factories. The reason is that many people in the world can't resist to law. I think that the second solution is that we invent new chemicals which crean the water polluted .Current technology advances. So we can invent that chemicals necessary in the future.

In my opinion, one of the effects of pollution on the global environment is water pollution.
Waters in our river and sea has been polluted by factories. Because of this, many fishes are killed (or you can use the word died) by eating toxic substances and person who eat these fishes can have disease . And it is difficult to cure this disease. We have to prevent water pollution.

I have two solutions to this problem. I think that the first solution is for the government to make new law (or you could say to implement new law) which ristrict pollution for factories for the reason that many people in the world can't resist to law. I think that the second solution is for us to invent new chemicals which can help clean the water that is being polluted .Current technology advances could help solve the problem. We can invent chemicals that could be necessary in the future.

-I am not very good in polishing other people's sentences so there might be errors on how I checked it. 
I advise you not to only focus on water pollution since the question itself seems to be talking about all pollution that is happening in the environment.
