“Do you have books?” is general, and could substitute for the other two. “Do you have any books?” really only changes the tone. I will say that, “Do you have any books?” is more likely to prompt them list off specific books. If you ask “Do you have some books?” you’re asking if there are multiple books. The other two are used to ask if there are multiple books as well.

The "usual" rule is "some" in affirmative sentences, the exception is when you "offer food" as a courtesy: Would you like "some" coffee? // "any" in interrogative and negative sentences with equivalent meaning for "some"... // "Any" means in affirmative sentences "not preferred thing among others" example: I like "any" books to read... // About your question the right is Do you have ANY books? (plural form)

If you think there may be only one or no books, you probably wouldn’t ask “do you have some books”, you’re more likely to ask “do you have any books” or “do you have books”.

@Teacher_Vilk This is exactly right, except you wouldn’t ask “do you have (any/some) book”, it will always be “books”, even if you’re only asking if there is one book.
