Amy is my friend. She is having a rough time. She got depression and has suffered from it since April. Her family really cares about and worried about her, so they take more time to accompany her, especially her mother. Amy's mother changed her time of the job, so that she can get more time to take Amy out to see views or talk to her.

Amy is a brave girl. Even though she received the bad news of her diagnosis, it did not affect her so much. She has been following the orders of the doctor and her family. Therefore, the doctor said her depression is getting better. It had the chance to recover as long as she keep eating drugs and injecting.

I hope Amy can recover soon.

I would change the 'She got depression' to 'She has depression'.

'Her family cares about and is worried for her, so they take time to spend with Amy, especially her mother.'

'Amy's mother changed her job's shift's timing so that she can take Amy out to view sceneries or chat with Amy'.

(I'm not too sure about the job part and the viewing sceneries part.)

'Amy is a brave girl. Even when she found out that she was diagnosed with depression, she was not affected badly. She has been following her doctor's orders as well as her family's. As a result, the doctor said her depression is getting better.'

(I'm also not too sure about the depression affecting her part.)

'She had the chance to recover as long as she took the drugs that her doctor prescribed.'

(Since I don't know the exact drugs she takes, I'll just leave it at drugs.)
