Here's a part of song lyrics.
What does "Ain't no rest for the wicked" mean in the line 7??
[Lyrics]
Yeah, some people wake up Sunday, feel hungover
And I look at all my friends like, "Told you so"
While you take that time off, I keep getting closer
I don't care about getting laid, I just care about getting paid
I got 24 hours for my seven deadly sins
And you're calling me out like, "Yo, where've you been?"
Ain't no rest for the wicked
I'm sorry, I won't stay
But I got bills to pay
Ain't no rest when you're winning
It's all work and no play
But I don't feel no shame
