Hi. I’m @@@, studying software engineering in @@@ University in Seoul.
I took the liberty of e-mailing you to make a request about a criterion of student exchange program for a first semester of 2022.

Normally, only those who go abroad to study take IELTS exam in Korea, so I just
got a band score 6.5 and over 6 in each section by referring to a previous
application criteria(band score 6.5, over 6 in each section)from DGU homepage.
In case of a student exchange program for the first semester(August-November) in
2022, however, requires higher score (band score 7) than before, and I’m unqualified for it.
So, will it be difficult to re-adjust the current criteria for the application?
I know that my request is hard to be accepted and far-fetched, but this is my last chance that I can apply for the program since I’m a senior now. Plus, if I knew that I　needed higher score for the application, I would have devoted more time and effort so that I can get a better score.
I’m sorry to trouble you, but I’ve been eager to study in a prestigious university like SMU and I really long for it. I appreciate you for reading my e-mail.
