Domande Olandese
Hi – I was wondering if anyone could please confirm that this song is actually in Dutch. Thanks. I know it’s annoying to have to look at videos, but the tune is cute at least.

This is definitely not Dutch, I can hear some French words, but they may also be words that the singer is making up as she is singing, to fit the music. The music itself sounds like music from Indonesia (gamelan), at least to me.
You could ask the same question in the French group, or in the group for Canadian French (if this exists on Hinative). Perhaps they understand more than I do.
Intriguing music, I must say. It almost sounds like the singer is in trance...
I see this band was called La Neu when it existed, and apparently it was German. The lyrics of this song are not in German, though.
This might give you more information:

Thanks – that’s very interesting. I thought it sounded like French myself, but then I wondered if it was some kind of Dutch French… The rest of the album has songs in German and English so it’s all very confusing.
Trancelike is pretty much what these guys do – if you like this, I can also recommend the earlier versions of the band, called Neu! and La Düsseldorf. I guarantee that you will be entranced. 🙂👍

Well, I'm already half asleep, so I don't think I need much more of this right now :) But I'll certainly check it out. Thanks :)

I see that this song, called 'Dank Je Sanne', (which, if not for the capital letters being used, could be Dutch for 'thank you Sanne'), comes from an Album called 'Zeeland'. Apart from this being the name of a Dutch province, where the album was recorded, I see no connection to Dutch at all. I'm guessing it's a made up language, using speech sounds that make it sound like French or Breton.
I also couldn't find any lyrics to the song, which might support this idea.
