I was watching a movie in italian (Sempre piu bello) and there's dialogue where she (marta) says to her boyfriend "Mi hai tradito" ... but the subtitles said "mi hai tradita" ... so which is it? Should it be tradita because she is female ? I am confused about genders of verbs because sometimes it agrees with your gender and sometimes it agrees with the person you are talking to/about. Can someone explain?
