I think the best time to visit Indonesia based on the choice you gave is in September since the rainy season starts in October until February. And what do you mean by the best weather? Does it mean the weather is hot or cool or mildly hot? If you are looking for cool weather, Bandung (West Java) and Waghete in Papua are the coldest places I know. But the sun shines almost every day in all of the Indonesian territory.

@Evan_123 Thank you so much! I'll be there in September and the first week or two of October. For best weather, I mean, not too much rain or humidity, I guess??

@inevitablylaughing Bandung is the perfect fit for you I suppose since the weather is as you described and i think the air quality is also better if it's compared with Jakarta

After I compared the weather forecast data for a week in Bali vs Bandung, the data showed that it's more humid in Bali and probably is going to have rain the whole week but in Bandung from Wednesday until Friday it's going to be partly cloudy and the humidity is also lower. You can see it too if you type "cuaca bali hari ini" and "cuaca bandung hari ini" on Google. Below is the climate chart in Bali, Denpasar, I got it from here (https://bali.com/id/bali-2/cuaca/)
