As a Muslim, if I go to an Indu temple, would people get irritated? I'm really curious about other religions and their holy places but I wear hijab, so I'm afraid of people giving me weird looks. I look a little like an Indian and I don't think people would understand I'm a foreigner, would they misunderstand my existence?

Hijab connected with your culture and we believe that culture is very important for every humans.

@fatmazehra I don't think people will get irritated by seeing you in temple.
Obviously they will stare at you a little because Muslims usually don't go to temple and since you said you wear hijab ofcourse they can distinguish that you are a Muslim.
Some of them will be glad to see you, for example i'll be really glad to see a Muslim in temple and in fact for me the people who visit any holy place are just human beings (neither hindu nor muslim)
And maybe i think our praying style is also different?
But i don't think that will make any difference.
I visit temple, dargah, gurudwara and church and i pray the same way i pray at temple.
I visited dargah twice, ofcourse some people stared at me 😅 but some of them didn't.
So i think its same everywhere you go.

Not at all... As per Hinduism you can reach God by any means you like.. The God has no form but he can come in any form.. We respect all religion.. The conflict happens only when someone tries to preach us that our way of praying is wrong

I think they will keep stare at you. Because it will be a new thing for them. But they will not get irritated

if they let you into the temple . it's fine as long as you don't run into people who goes to the extremities for their religion. There are temples which don't allow people other than Hindus into the temple. If you sneak in, expect the unexpected. if my answer is offensive to anyone . I am sorry.
