Także radzę skosztować pączki — takie smażone w oleju lub na smalcu bułeczki z nadzeniem, na przykład jagodowym, kremowym, czekoladowo-orzechowym.

Polish sweets which everybody knows and tried is for example Ptasie Mleczko, Michałki (marka E.Wedel) and a type of candies called krówki :)

Ptasie Mleczko is one of my favourites, you can get it in any big grocery store. Karpatka cake is also tasty, you can get is at a bakery. Pączki are also well known and loved, just make sure to buy them from a local bakery and not from a supermarket, the ones from the supermarket taste like a sugary sponge.
For something savoury I can recommend Wiejskie Ziemniaczki chips, it's just normal chips brand, like Lay's, but they have polish cusine inspired flavours, like roasted meat with horseradish (my absolute favourite). You can also try oscypki, polish cheese, it tastes great, but the real thing is rather hard to come by, and it's harder the further away you are from the mountains where it's produced.
We also have some fermented foods you might have not tried before - kiszone ogórki (pickles, but not the kind made with vinegar, they're very sour and delicious) and kiszona kapusta (sauerkraut, also very sour). You'll get them at grocery store as well.

bardzo polecam: cukierki BIM BOM, gołąbki jarskie z grzybami, żelki malinki, ciasto Jadzia, biszkopty (dr. Gurgul), batonik Dare, śliwki w czekoladzie, cebulkowe paluszki :)
