Domande Repubblica Di Corea
안녕하세요
There's a rumor that I heard recently that a person who bought an apartment or a house in Korea cannot leave his own property as a heritage to his relatives or anybody and the government takes it as a public property instead. Is it true or it's just a complete nonsense? Could you tell me something about it
P.s. I find this idea insanely stupid and I don't believe it's true that's why I just needed to clarify this

I've heard so many ridiculous lies about Korea until now, but that is one of the stupidest rumors I've ever heard about Korea in my whole life.
Here in Korea, the people are above the government. Everyone is free to criticize everything under the sun. We can even sue the president. The government takes a private asset as a public property? How? Why? I don't think it's possible even in a dictatorship like Russia. (Is it possible in Russia?)
The only case that makes it possible would be, when a landlord is indicted for serious tax evasion and they never want to pay taxes. Tax evasion is one of the most serious crimes in most countries in the world including Korea.
If you heard that from some Russian media, or Russian people, you must take what they say with a grain of salt. Due to the serious press censorship in Russia, so many things reported by the Russian media are totally fake. Those who're exposed to the fake stories in their whole lives often bs in public not knowing how stupid and brainwashed they are. I've seen those people several times. Many of them are from the countries with a dictatorial government such as Russia and China.

I'm certain that those spreading the complete bullshit about Korea actually know nothing about Korea. South Korea is a capitalist country. What you heard is fundamentally impossible in free capitalist countries. I wonder what kind of dumb people are spreading the bullshit. If they had had at least a little bit of basic knowledge about the difference between capitalism and communism, they wouldn't have told you that.

@happy35 That's exactly what I said to that person. It sounds ridiculously savage for such a country like Korea

@pakmaxim I've read your previous threads and I found that some of your questions about Korea sound really odd and even incredibly stupid(no offense. Sorry). If what you said (some people around you are always telling you all kinds of bullshits about Korea and Koreans as if they're true) is true, I think you need to be wary of them and stay away from them for good. They seem very untrustworthy. I don't understand why they're telling those stupid and vicious lies to someone who's going to Korea soon.
