Come si dice in Tedesco? Sie sich sehen nicht aus. They don’t look alike.

They don’t look alike. = Sie sehen nicht gleich aus.
That doesn’t look like the other one. = Das* sieht nicht wie das* andere aus.
This looks bigger than the other one. = Das* sieht größer als das* andere aus.

*You can use "das" generally to speak about all kinds of objects, but you can also specifically use the article fitting the grammatical gender of the word: "der", "die", "das".

Die Katze ist groß, aber sie ist nicht so groß wie der Hund.

When the adjective doesn't precede the noun (die große Katze), but follows after the verb "ist", it's undeclined: "Die Katze ist groß."

Also, I meant you are free to use only an article if you are speaking about an object but you aren't mentiong it by name. For example, you could say
"Die Statue ist höher als der Baum." (The statue is higher than the tree), but if it's clear from the context what you mean - e.g. you and your audience are standing right in front of the statue and the tree and you are pointing at them as you speak, you could just as well say:
Either
"Das [pointing to statue] ist größer als das [pointing to tree]."
or
"Die [pointing to statue] ist größer als der [pointing to tree]."

But it sounds a bit strange to refer to a living being like a cat by just the article ("... die ist nicht so groß wie ..."). It's not wrong! But it's very spoken-language and often, referring to a living being by just the article sounds a little downputting ("Das ist meine Chefin. Die hat von nichts eine Ahnung." = That's my boss. She doesn't know anything about anything.)
