Hi!
I am a medical student studying in Germany. As a requirement for our studies we need to do an internship for at least 30 days at a hospital during our breaks.
I would love to do this internship at a Korean hospital, I do have problems getting all the information from the internet though.
I would be happy if there is a Korean medical student to help me (and maybe knows about this topic) or someone who is informed about such an internship in Korea!

서울아산병원에 알아보세요. 해외 의대생들 대상의 서브인턴제 VISA(Visiting International Students at Asan)가 비교적 잘 돼 있는 곳 같아요. 주로 한국인들이 지원하지만, 한국어나 영어 둘 중 하나가 능통하면 되는 것 같아요. 13년전 미국인이 서브인턴했다는 기사도 있고.

검색해보니 외국 의대생도 서브인턴제로 2주간 국내 병원에서 할 수 있다는 글은 있던데, 거의 다 해외 의대 다니는 한국인 학생들이 하는 것 같네요. 한국 의사들과 의대생들이 영어는 알지만, 현실적으로 한국병원에서 인턴쉽하는데 한국어를 못하면 힘들 것 같습니다. 님 하나를 위해 모든 걸 다 따로 영어로 설명하고 번역해 줘야할텐데 한국 병원은 매우 빠르고 바쁘게 돌아가기 때문에 한국어 못하는 외국인 학생을 케어해줄 여력이 일반 병원은 없을 것 같네요. 참고로 여기 한국 병원에서 인턴은 internship 개념이 아니라서, 의대졸업 후 국가 의사고시 패스하고 나서 전문의 되려는 사람이 1년간 합니다.
바쁜 의대 본과생들이나 의전원 학생들이 한가하게 이런 앱을 쓸 것 같지는 않고, 다니는 학교 교수님들께 문의하세요. 만약 님 학교와 자매결연 맺은 한국의 대학에 의대가 있다면 그쪽으로도 문의해보시길. 아니면 국내 주요병원들에 이메일로 직접 문의하는 게 가장 정확하지 않겠어요? 의대생들도 그냥 학생이라 각 병원에서 외국 대학생들 짧게 서브인턴체험 하는 제도 같은 것까지는 잘 모를 겁니다.

I guess many big general hospitals in Korea have a "sub- internship program" for international medical students. Google "Big hospitals in Korea", and contact the person in charge in each hospital for detailed information. As the answer above, Seoul Asan Hospital is one of the biggest and the most famous hospitals in Korea.
