A dumb question but do you consider for a beginner (Italian) to read in Italian? I mean my vocabulary is so low so I understand almost nothing. Of course, I could pick something whose plot is familiar but I think still it's not nice to read something you know nothing about. So is there any way to increase my language in a way which isn't as frustrating as reading something you don't know?

You can challenge yourself by reading something you don’t know/understand insofar as this doesn’t frustrate you (e.g. just 1 short sentence you want to learn from scratch).
Anyway, I suggest you to follow an incremental approach like the so-called “i+1”. If you can understand roughly 80% of the words of a text, that text is supposed to be a good fit/choice for you, because you can learn something new just by focusing on the remaining 20% of words (that seems to be a more effective/efficient and less frustrating method).

You probably don't know the nouns: residenza, gesto, scritta
or verbs: si scusa (scusarsi), immortala (immortalare), coprono (coprire), recante (recare: participio presente).
adjectives: nuova (this is easy), finita, ufficiale, intime

or you could search for texts talking about things you like.

@G91 @Kureij_Inoshishi Grazie for you both. Well, I started to think that I have one movie I love so much and I found some fanfictions about it on the Internet and some of those were in Italian. Because a topic is interesting, it is nice and not frustrating to read/study words when the topic is interesting and something you like. And of course it's not just "for fun", I'll take a look at those sentences and words, like how they are formed and and I'll get a "mututuntuma" (a Finnish word, means something like: "I'll get the feeling") how sentences are formed in Italian.

I'll describe myself as a beginner even though I have more or less actively studied Italian since last autumn on "kansalaisopisto" (I don't know what is it called in English).

But I think maybe this is the best way to study Italian and I am going to get some grammar book also. Because, as we know, the grammar is a basement for everything
