How do American students go to school?

I go to highschool. First, I wake up then go downstairs to eat breakfast. After driving to school, I go to my teachers and ask for help on the homework I didnt understand. As soon as the first bell rings I hurry to class. Today, I have 4 classes. First I have english, then I have chemistry, then theology, and finally math class. I will have the rest of my classes tommorow. After school I go to theater club and help out. Then I go home to do homework, and then go to sleep.

There are a few options. Bus (public or school), car (parent drives you or you drive yourself), walking, and subway (if your city has it).

The first thing we Chinese students do in school is handing in our homework. And then we have a morning reading time which forces students to read textbooks aloud, and some students may spend the time asking teacher questions.
I go to school in my parent's car for nearly ten years. So I am really jealous of those who goes to school by themselves. Thank you for your answers.
