While English, Spanish, German and Italian are the main languages learned in French schools, they are not the most commonly used in a day to day basis.

In order of importance, the most spoken languages ​​in France apart from French, according to a survey made by INED, are dialectal Arabic (3 or 4 million speakers), Creoles and Berber (nearly two million), Alsatian (548,000), Occitan (526,000), Breton (304,000), Langues d'oïl (204,000), Moselle Franconian or Lorraine Franconian (Platt Lorrain) (78,000), Corsican (60,000), Basque (44,000).

Those numbers might not be exactly the same in 2023 since the survey wasn't made this year but it is still a good representation of the languages.
