北海道の私立大学が「元朝日新聞記者の非常勤講師を辞めさせないと学生に危害を加える」と脅迫を受けていました。
I'm having a hard time translating this sentence. What I understand from it, is that the teacher has threatened to hurt students if he's not allowed to quit his job. However, it doesn't seem to make much sense grammar-wise, because of that を in 非常勤講師を辞めさせない. Would appreciate some help :D
