I just wonder why you say, "Merry Christmas", not "Happy Christmas" like "Happy New Year", "Happy Birthday", "Happy Anniversary", "Happy Easter", etc. Do you have any other examples to use "merry", not "happy"?

"Merry" is only for Christmas. It'd be weird for other occasions.
