I personally like the USA but some people are not as keen after the recent elections :/ I really love the weather and the food and the accents though :)

I just think 'murica! Freedom! Eagles! America is huge. It's just one country but Jesus. There's so much walking unless you have a car. Florida's a nice warm temperature but it can rain really heavily from what I remember. I also think of huge bugs and crocodiles.
The different accents are also interesting. The gun thing is weird. My uncle has a rifle on display.

There are two impressions. One is the "you are wrong because you are not Merka and we must fix that." The other is super helpful people who will give you a hug. On the one hand America is hard line and cold, with no support for those unable to work or for the ill. On the other hand, America is touchy feely and you are supported to dream. People tend to waver between the two extremes without settling on an inbetween.

@022 The political climate is terrifying. The people are generally speaking really nice and friendly from my experience (NYC, Boston, Washington DC, West Virginia and Virginia). Great comidians as well, like Elliott Morgan, Evan Edinger and Lee Newton.

cool food, funny accents and diversity of people but i see on the news so much hatred (racism etc.) happening there, and the politics is a mess

Good people, good place. Crap politicaly. Gun laws, racism and a lack of lgbt acceptance, are the things I don't like. Also that it's heavily religious. If it was more equal I think it would be an amazing place with a lot to offer the world.
