"Hello! I want to get high scores on my TOEFL. I know the listening part is very important. Can anyone give me advice?"
Advice: Practice everyday by reading, writing, and speaking in English. Also paraphrase what you listened back to a native English speaker. Practice, practice, practice. 😉
Hope that helps.

@MasahiroNa In the listening section you will be required to recall relevant information spoken about in the recording.
In doing so, noting down the important parts of the speech is very important.
If you are able to make effective notes then that will greatly aid you in answering the questions which follow.
Therefore, my suggestion to you is to use the listening section in a practice test book. You need to find out the best way which works for you in order to make effective notes.
Another suggestion would be: In the listening section, the speakers will often use casual and colloquial phrases in their speech. Make sure you study what the most common phrases are and what they mean.

@MasahiroNa that is one idea. Another way is writing in a diary everyday in English. Another is having a friend or a skype pal or email pal who you can practice English and maybe teach that person Japanese.
