Hmm. That's a very strange response to give to someone who asks you to have a cup of coffee with them. Perhaps there is backstory to the film that would clarify why this was said.
"Maybe you'll have a cup of coffee before you go" and "I would love to" sounds more natural for some reason.

More context is needed to understand. Perhaps there are multiple tests that one can take, and the one you should take depends on your age. Pre-teen just means "not yet a teen", though a pre-teen is usually someone who is between the age of 11-12, or so.

Thanks for your reply. I am watching a movie and in the movie the man is asking the woman to have a cup of coffee with him. "Well maybe you have a cup of coffee with me before you go" "Yeah, I like to do that pre-teen test".
