How will you politely say that if a person buys two or more items from your ebay or sth they can ask for combine shipping to reduce the costs of shipping before paying for everything separately? That'd be nice if someone had a sentence without the word 'costs' in it, I know it's hard, but sth more subtle than a message that screams between the lines 'hey wanna pay less ask for combine shipping' ......well I hope you guys understand what I mean

Honestly, everyone would love to hear less cost. Just make sure all the details are there. Like if they need to email you BRFORE purchasing. Or if it will automatically combine. Or give them a time period to make the purchase before you prepare shipping. And most importantly, say how often you respond or check emails.
