Very much means a large amount of some action. Normally, these actions are in some way related to the person doing it.
Examples would be
"I love dogs very much."
"The girl wanted to sing very much."
Too much means that there is more than enough of something, but it is a bad thing.
Examples are:
"There is too much food. I cannot eat it all."
"He talks too much."

*Important note* "much" is used for things you cannot count. For example, I cannot count the amount of food on the plate. So you would use "much."
Example: "There is too much food."

If you have a lot of something you can count, use the word "many" For example, if you have 3 shoes, but can only wear 2, you say, "I have to many shoes."
