It's quite interesting that I've seen a poll (or research?) which says Asian guys are the least attractive to girls in Western countries. I don't feel sad or mad it's just weird to me. I just feel bad for her cause that is not love. If she dates a Korean guy cause She likes Kpop and he is just Korean, That means she doesn't love him. It doesn't make any sense.

I personally don't like or hate Kpop. But I'm glad that Kpop makes Korea much more popular. You know, Korea is not a big, influential country compared to Japan and China. At least Korea is globally known by Kpop. + Kim Jong Un 😅

@harkbel I know right? Most of my friends are over 175cm. Over 175cm is not that small I think. Actually I don't worry about my height cause I'm over 180cm so I won't be in trouble because of my height. I'm not trying to be cocky tho ahahahaha

Aha! Now I understand. Yeah that is right thing. The most important thing is seeing people as them not just their ethnicity or nationality. Preference and fantasizing is a little bit different I think.

Intellectual stimulation hahaha it sounds so hard to me! tbh I've never been in reltaionship before so I don't know much about it very well. But in my opinion, compatibility is quite important. You know, like how are we great match? In other words, Personality is very important. I'm not saying appearance and physical trait don't matter. It's just personality is much more important than those things. Afterall beauty and attractive physical trait will disappear but good personality doesn't. So, if she is good enough, her ethnicity and nationality are not a big deal. And my dad was like "Marry with foriegn girls!" I don't know he is serious or not tho XD I have no idea I am making sense but I hope you understand what I'm saying.

@Virtuoso I don't think it is that Western women don't find Asian men attractive - as in face etc.  I think a lot of it has to do with body size because western women tend to have larger bodies so feel larger compared to some Asian men. Don't you think this also?  Many western women are larger than Asian women so I think some western women also think Asian men would not like them.

Most western adult women do not like the appearance of Korean idols and celebrities also because they are a bit feminine. We have the metrosexual man but even these men do not take as good care of themselves as many Asian men.

Also,  with more and more women interested in working out,  fitness and getting stronger,  there is also an expectation that the man should also be physically dominant.  The guys in my gym that most women find attractive are the built Asian and Middle Eastern men - not the western ones.

It is actually very common for Asian guys to be in intercultural relationships when they live in Western countries. My last bf migrated here from Japan but we didn't date because we fetishised each other's culture - it was because we actually like each other as human beings.

@phakeujung I completely agree with you about people liking someone for their nationality.  There are many girls on here who ask questions about whether Korean guys will like them.

But it goes both ways.  A friend of mine from Busan is moving here this year and he said he wants a foreign girlfriend.  But why?  Is it to tick off the experience?

People should be open to all nationalities and people, not setting their sights on one in particular because it is 'trendy'.

@Virtuoso But height is changing though. I am 174cm tall but many Asian male students in the high school I work at are taller than me by the time they are 15 years old.  Some are even taller than me when they are 12!

Built body = so hard!!!  I train 6 days a week but am still have a long way to  get the abs I want 💪

We dated of course. What I meant was that we did not start seeing each other because he wanted to be with an Australian woman or I wanted to be with a Japanese man. We just dated because we were sexually attracted to each other,  we liked each others personality,  we had a good time together and we stimulated each other intellectually.  That is all I meant.

For me the most important thing in a long term relationship is intellectual stimulation - physical attraction is important but I don't think it can make a relationship last. Sometimes I want to debate politics or current events (not all the time) so it is important they can have this type of conversation.  I have realised not all people can do this! So when some people want to date others because they are a particular race I don't understand it.  Unless both can speak one common language well I wonder how they think it will last.

Race is not important.  All races are attractive in different ways it is the person that counts.

I think western women still finding asian men the least attractive but it is all by how media portrayed asian men. For example, my boyfriend is asian and I heard many comments saying "oh! your boyfriend is handsome to be asian..." (I don't know if they realize it is really rude to say that or just their head is empty..." I also heard many girls here who only like white or latino men 😩 These days is true that many girls by kpop seem to fantasize about asian men and specially korean (I saw many comments like "I want a korean bf") I actually think it is very childish and stupid to famtasize about a country/race people.

@Virtuoso I think so too, preference is normal, some people like blondes other people like big eyes, other people like sharp eyes... it depends on taste. But fantasizing is childish I think. 
And yes I feel they are so rude, other people also started to say to me my taste is sh*t or I have sight problem when I said I feel more attractive to asian ... I think it is really rude
