I'm an American girl who is engaged to a Telugu guy. I'm wondering about Indian wedding dresses.
I have seen lots of different pictures of different styles etc, but it's confusing for me because I don't know much about Indian dresses. For instance, I don't know what all the different pieces are called, I don't know what's appropriate to wear, etc. So I could use your advice.
I really like how lehengas look. How full these kinds of skirts are. However, I have read that those kinds are traditionally worn in northern India. And since he from Andra Pradesh I didn't know if that is something that brides would ever wear in that area. Can you clarify this for me?

@queenflora1 mostly Indian brides wear heavy dresses yeah lehnga is common and I want to tell u that India is complicated with all cultures around the country ...like in Assam there is different wedding dress that brides wear and at some other place it's different..
