I fell asleep with my contacts out in. sembra naturale?

I found the following sentence on a website.
"I fell asleep with my contacts out in."

I am confused about "out in".
Can I just say?
"I feel asleep with my contacts in".

That sentence is unusual. Perhaps the website made a mistake.

You're right. The correct sentence should be "I fell asleep with my contacts in."

I meant natural for you sentence. There is no reason for out to be in there.
