What do you Americans think about British English?
How do you feel when you watch series like "Game of thrones" where people speak British English all the time?

Do you completely understand what they say in "Game of thrones"?

It usually depends. In many cases a lot of the different terms and phrases are interchangeable, however there are a few moments where it feels like you need a dictionary.

It is so hard to understand them that I have to use subtitles. And most of the time they use words very different from us.

i watch this one comedian and he says wen british people talk they sound very smart and distinguished compared to him and id have to agree i really hope u dont take offence to it because i thnk british people are amazing to me idk why it might be because i really enjoy learning about different contries and other people

It's just another accent. Nothing big. Because of the way Americans look up to Europe, it's often perceived as "smarter"—but this is a light assumption, not a heavy one. Nobody ever says "wow, you have a British accent, so you must be smart!"—it's more like certain "educated" characters in movies might have British accents.

If I'm watching a TV series or movie, I sometimes have to have the volume up louder so I can hear them better. However depending on the dialect (London accent vs Liverpool) it can be difficult to understand at first. I just have to pay a little more attention

I find the accent attractive but from what I have hear the British don't really have kind things to say about Americans. sorry if that is not correct I sure not all dislike Americans but just from what I see and here a lot don't.

Yes it is easy to understand British English. It only gets a little difficult if the accent is extremely thick, or if the slang or expression is really different.

I just put the subtitles on. For the most part I can understand them but I might have to google some words.
