I asked a question recently on the Italki site, and someone answered me in Korean. I'm learning Korean recently so can someone translate his answer in English please? :-)

It says: I'm not sure if u can understand me since i'm not good at english. word '받침(final consonant: non-formal)' is a name in(for?) writing and '종성(final consonant)' is phonemenal name. '종성' is academic word so it's rarely used in real life.

Risposta가능은 한 것 같아요. 저도 종종 쓰이는 걸 봤어요. 뭔가 기대하지 않았던 일이 일어날때 쓰면 되는 것 같아요. 나무위키에 쓰여있기에 예전엔 수량 등 숫자에만 쓰도록 했었는데 요즘 와서 수량 외에도 종종 쓰이게 변화되었대요.
