@heleneoldeide Expressions. Like in English we say "sell it like it's going out of style". Which makes no sense but for whatever reason we still use it. I was just wondering if there's any weird expressions like that in Norwegian.

Å sitte med skjegget i postkassen (to have your beard in the mail box). I think it's a funny expression at least! You say it when you e.g. invested in something and you got the worst possible outcome.

Up north we have «å selge smør uten betaling» (to sell butter without getting paid) if you look angry. I guess it makes sorta sense?

"Cheer up, mate. You look like you’ve sold butter without any pay."
