well, I know in Toronto there's an area called Korea Town... I think besides Chinese people, we have more Koreans than any other Asian population... 🤔I could be wrong though...

I have never talked much with Korean people but I honestly would like to. I hear South Korea is well known for it's plastic surgery, am I wrong? I do find Koreans I have met are pretty nice people. 😊

I have a couple Korean friends, those who are born in Korea seem to have a lot of pressure during their childhood. I find a lot of Koreans to excel at many things because of this though, art, music, studies etc.
Which is amazing but I do feel bad for all the stress they get

@HaanR I have known many Korean Canadians, and South Korea is the place I want to visit most in the world. Most of my friends consume a lot of Korean media, including me. It's easy to find on YouTube and Netflix, which is how we consume most of our media in general. Korean beauty products are huge in Canada now and can be bought almost anywhere that sells beauty products. My university even has a kpop dance team and they compete against other teams, so that must be pretty popular. My little sister also golfs professionally, and Koreans who travel here for the tournaments are SO nice to her, so I have a special place in my heart for Korea. I feel like Canada and South Korea would make great best friends if they were people :p

I don’t live in a big city (near Montreal in Quebec), and asian immigrants mostly live in big cities here, but we still have a lot of people who like korean culture (fashion, music, traditions, makeup). Also, the few korean people I spoke to were very polite and friendly. Korea seems to be a beautiful country with a wonderful culture and I surely will visit it one day!
