Is it true that in Australia there is big spiders??? (Ugh brrr) I’d like to go to Australia someday, but I really afraid spiders 😱

Yes there are but you'll hardly ever see one. I personally in my life have only seen one.

It depends where you go. If you are in the city it should be fine. I live in a small country town and spiders are everywhere here.

Depends on where you go in Australia, I live in a beach town and occasionally I will see a huntsman. So you should be fine :)

A huntsman is a common "big" spider but are harmless to humans.
The more dangerous ones are small, but as long as you check your shoes/clothes if they are left outside or on the floor then you should be ok.
Also we have treatments for spider bites, so don't panic too much about that.
I have never been bitten (that I am aware of) and work in a place that looks after spider bites and we don't get people there very often at all.

@keeeks_ik In winter/autumn seasons, there are less spiders around but in summer/spring we do get quite a few... It's rare to see the quite big ones like huntsman and wolf spiders. Ive only seen 2 wolf spiders and 1 huntsman in 7 years. I think you will be alright :)

Yeah, but they’re not that common. Don’t listen to those dumb foreigners, they’re over-exaggerating about big spiders over here.
