How about buying pizza? Presented as a suggestion.
What about buying pizza? Presented as an additional suggestion or alternate idea.
How is buying pizza? Asking about what the experience is like.

The first two are very similar, with slight differences in nuance.
The third one is very different, and would not make sense if used the same way as the first two.
