They are similar
↓
[little]: small in amount
[a bit]: a very small amount
A: Would you like some syrup with your pancakes?
B: Yes please, I'll take a [little].
"I'm sorry I'm running late, I'll be there in a [little]."
"Make sure you add just [a bit] of vanilla to your dish - add too much, and it'll taste weird."
A: Well hurry up you're going to miss it!
B: Ok! I'll just be [a bit]!
You can also use them in conjunction to mean 'a small amount':
A: You're going to need to reposition a [little] to the side.
B: I'll start moving, just tell me when to stop.
A: Keep going, move [a bit] more towards your left.
B: Ok.
A: Just [a little bit] more. Ok! Stop, that is good.
I hope this helps〜

They can be used the same way if you use them together. (A bit of coffee, a little bit of coffee.) but “a little coffee” is kind of unnatural
