That is incorrect. It should be "I WORKED all day yesterday, so today I DON'T HAVE TO go to work." The perfect is not used when you specify WHEN you did something as "finished time." Here is a helpful article. If you look at point 3, it says "We CAN'T use the present perfect with a finished time word." http://www.perfect-english-grammar.com/present-... Also note that the users who told you this was correct are French and Indonesian... they should read this article too. By the way, it is incorrect to say "Can I tell..." it should be "Can I SAY..."
