‘How do you find something?’ is mostly used to ask how to search for something that is lost or somewhere unknown.
Example
‘How do you find the library?’
‘It’s just down North Street.’
‘How do you find the hospital?’
‘Follow the signs.’
However it can be used to ask what you though of something too.
Example:
‘How did you find the meeting last night?’
‘I thought it was very interesting.’
‘How did you find the exam?’
‘It was really tricky.’
