女の子= girl in general (it could also be female between 0-30years old or in some case it could even be more than 30 )

童女ーyou can see this word in a book like The brothers Grim
yeah , that some old word ,I think 1 in 5 Japanese people doesn't know how to pronunce it


幼女ー she could be like 3-8years old , if you wanna emphasise that the girl is very young who need parental supervise all day, she is the one

少女ーgirls before adolescence or until the middle of those term. but if she has a matured face or physical structure she is not the one even if she is 13years old or so .
