If Nick had not been offered two well paid jobs he would not be in a dillema which one to choose.
2) The headteacher gave Bob a very good reference. She has a high opinion of his ablities.
If she did not have a high opinion of his ablities, the headteacher would not have given Bob a very good reference.
3) If I had not telephoned many airlines to find out the cheapest price, I would have enough money.
4)If John did not have a heart attach last year, he would have had a healthy and active life now.
5)If Alice had not spent a few years in Florence, her Italian would not be very good.
6) If I had not beed self-employed very long, I would imagine having to work for someone.
7) If you had not shouted the baby would not be awake.
