How could he be sure that he reached perfection? 
So he was sure that he will be in heaven? 
No anyone could know for sure how 
heavy his deeds would be when they are put on the balance on the day of judgement. And any person could make a sin so he was sure that Allah forgave his all sins? Wallahi if you spend all your nights praying, reading Quran and crying, you can not be sure that much, you will only have hope that Allah accepts them from you because you might make a very small tiny sin that you might not even recognize and it will be so heavy on the day of judgment. And maybe your life would be full of sins then you make one small good deed sincerely that counts so much on the day of judgement. Even Awleya’ Allah can not be sure of that. And maybe they work so hard and they do not even know or recognize that they are awleya’ Allah. 
And let us say that he was completely sure about his relation with Allah and that he reached perfection, so what about his relation with people? How was he with his neighbors? With his sons? With his daughters? With his wife? With animals? With enemies? With Christians? With Jews? With little ones? With elder ones? With needy and poor? Was he sure of all these relations that he has reached perfections in them to be a perfect muslim to say that about his own self. 
If you say about someone he is perfect, I say ok you said that because of what you have seen from him, (but still you do not know how he is away from people sight), but if someone says that about himself, it feels like he has an ego to be that much sure.
I searched about his name in Arabic and English but I could not find his name at all. I wanted to read people’s opinion about his character and read about his life to see if my opinion and what I felt was wrong but I could not find any, I just reached to Shi’a pages. But myself I did not like that he said he reached perfection. But Allah knows him and his intentions better ☺️
And also I believe that Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him is our intercessor But Allah is our helper
الله مُغيثنا و الرسول شفيعنا
And if people study Quran and Hadith and understand them perfectly, I am sure they will think million before killing anyone, but ISIS do not know about Islam , they are brain washed , and they do not resemble Islam nor even Wahhabis. They follow their own benefits and desires. They are on the path of shaytan.

Brother, wali is not like prophets . Prophets are in heaven because we know that from Quran and sunnah. 10 sahaba are in heaven because we believe that Allah let prophet Mohammad knows that, BECAUSE HE is massager, he has وحي sent to him. But although that did you read anywhere that these sahaba said about themselves they are perfect? rather read about Omer bin Al-Khattab and look how he always was scared to be wrong by making even a small mistake and he never said I am perfect! He act as he does not know that he is heaven. So how this person was sure! Awleya are not like prophets and messenger. Allah might make the wali feels he is on the right way of Islam to make his faith strong, but still he could not be sure of his perfection. What if Allah shows him evidence that he is on the right way to push him forward in that way but instead he stopped because he thought he just reached perfection? For me if you keep convincing me that he was perfect, I will not be convinced because he said that about himself, he said this song was written for a perfect person from a person who reached perfection, like saying we are same now 😌Wallahi sahaba never said that. 
And there is difference in Arabic between the two words (haya) and (modesty or to be humble) 
الحياء 
Is shyness 
التواضع 
Is modesty

Saying I am perfect this is not تواضع 
And yes the person should not be shy to tell what he knows about Islam or any knowledge and not to be shy to ask but still saying I am perfect this not related to حياء neither. 
Do not be shy to tell your knowledge to tell whatever benefits people and do this modestly, do not be proud of what Allah gave you because Allah can take back whatever he gave you instantly as a blink of an eye!

فأما بنعمة ربك فحدث 
Means to thank Allah for all the blessings that he gave you by your tongue while you are feeling these blessing inside your heart and use these blessing in the right way. I mean you see, you talk, you smell, you hear, you move, you walk, you run, you write, you have family, you have home, you have money, you have good friends, you have a wife, you are educated,...etc. So say by your tongue alhamdulellah for the bless of seeing, alhamdulellah for the bless of hearing, alhamdulellah for the bless of moving, alhamdulellah for the bless of having a family and home, alhamdulellah for having food, alhamdulellah for my education, alhamdulellah for having money... ,etc. and if someone asks you how are you? Say for example Alhamdulellah I am fine, everything is good, I am blessed, Do not say bad I am not fine, I do not have clothes, I do not have money, my life is bad. And most of people who say that they have money and they have clothes but they want more and more and more. This is denying and ignoring of all the blessings. And if you have money do not wear or look like a poor person and help others, give sadaqah and zakat, wear good and look good so poor and needy people could know that you have money so they can come to you when they need, but if you wear like them how could they know that you have money? Thank Allah for the money that he gave you by your tongue and behaviors but do not just walk through people and say I am rich I am rich I am rich or I have knowledge I have knowledge. Saying for example I am perfect, I am rich, I went to very expensive private schools that only rich people can go to, I travel to a different country every vacation, my husband loves me so much that he brings me a lot of gifts and makes a lot of surprises to make me happy, whatever I want I just tell my father and he buys it for me immediately, All these are blessings but should they be said in that way to other people? What if you said that to your poor friend? That might hurts him or makes him feel sad, or feels inferiors to you,  or you just make bad people to envy you and hate you. But you can say alhamdulellah I am blessed, my health is good, my family is good, my work is good, alhamdulellah my life is good, if you have money, help others, if you have knowledge, teach others. Yes you might have some problems but do not complain for people because your blessings are more than your problems and be sure that many people dream to have your exact life and they would happily live it with your exact problems because their life is worse. How do you Thank Allah for your eyes? Do not see haram with them. When you see something you like, say subhana Allah, ma Sha’a Allah. How do you thank Allah for your legs? Do not go to bad places by them. Go to the school, to the university, to the work. To the mosque, to visit you relatives, to visit sick people. How do you thank Allah for your hands? Do not use them to harm people, do not beat with them, do not write bad words or false information or lying intentionally, etc. This is what I understand from the ayah فأما بنعمة ربك فحدث . But saying I am perfect, so what is the benefit for me??  ☺️
 
The both narrations about Ali are for Shi’a, the first one I find some sunni sheikhs they do not take it at all because it is weak. And some say it is weak but so famous, and the second I could not find it at all except on Shi’a websites so I do not take it. As a sunni when you want to give a proof either you mention ayah from the Quran or Hadith of prophet Mohammad but not Shi’a narration of Ali nor a dream or imagination of a wali because we believe that there are a lot of speeches of Ali were invented by Shi’a themselves and never said by Ali may Allah be pleased with him. ☺️
Now if I ask you, Are you upon the truth? Yes. If I ask Shi’a are you upon the truth? They will say Yes. Christians? Yes Jews? Yes. Hindu? Yes. sikh? Yes. Sufi? Yes. Ahmadiyya ? Yes. So we all are on the right path? No. So maybe your wali is wrong? Yes. What is the best way to worship Allah? By following Quran and sunnah. When does any person become so close to Allah?? In Salah (praying) especially when your forehead touches the ground, you are at the nearest point. Does having Sufi night singing and making Sufi whirling make us closer to God? No, this is not the teaching of Islam and never mentioned in Quran and sunnah and never have done by prophet Mohammad peace be upon him. But some awleya do that? They invented these ways by themselves so it is bid’ah, so do you take from people who invented in this religion some behaviors that prophet Mohammad never done, Are they better than the prophet and the messenger of Allah to be followed or to be believed? Can you be sure 100% that all awleya in Sufism are honest and not lying or acting nor dealing with the black magic to just know some unknown information to make people follow them? But in the life of prophet Mohammad peace be upon him there were the munafeqeen (المنافقين) who pretended to be Muslims but they are disbelievers, they were around prophet Mohammad and they had that ability to act without fearing or any shyness from God. After the death of prophet Mohammad some men tried to convince people that they are messengers of Allah and that Gabriel come to them with a message from Allah and tried to invented some phrases to look like Quran. They had that courage to lie a big lie about Allah and his message and the Quran without any fear, and you still believe any story that you hear about awleya as if it is 100% true and as if it never can be wrong because Awleya can not lie. So what if whom you think they are awleya, they are not at all and they have invented their stories , or they made some magic to make people believe them and start to talk about their extraordinary stuff?? What if the one who invented the Sufi night he was bored of praying at night so he said let’s have some fun and convinced some people it is a night of worshiping and perfection and starts to sing. But why did not prophet Mohammad do that? Because He did not know about this way of worshipping?!!! So those people was better than him so allah led them and gave them the sight to discover a better way of worshiping that make the muslim reach the perfection? No, absolutely he is better than them without any doubts. So either you choose to follow prophet Mohammad peace be upon him and study Quran and sunnah and worship Allah as prophet Mohammad and his sahaba did, or follow awleya and their songs and their stories and imagination and dreams and their way because it is confusing to be on two ways at the same time. You mix many thoughts at the same time, sunni, Shi’a, Sufi, your thoughts should be more arranged and in one precise direction. I listen to songs about Allah and prophet Mohammad and different topics of Islam, and I read poems also but do I consider them as worshiping or equal to praying or reading Quran? No, not at all. ☺️
People of cave are awleya, yes I believe, Mariam the mother of Jesus ;peace be upon them, is from awleya, I believe, two sahaba who went out at the dark night and their sticks light up, they are awleya, yes I believe. All the stories of awleya’ Allah that mentioned in Quran or Hadith, yes I believe them. Any of these awleya said he was perfect? No. We believe their stories but we follow what prophet Mohammad peace be upon him taught us ☺️

No anyone can know the pathways of heavens and not even the angels, he should have a miracle to know that, but he is not a prophet to have a miracle, and even that special connection that he makes with God which is not a praying nor anything that prophet Mohammad told us about, it will not help him to know these stuff, because I know some limited extraordinary stuff could happen to the wali but do not reach the miracle. ☺️ And even if miracles happen to them but still you have to follow your prophet, the last messenger of Allah ☺️

Religion is not about your relation with god only, you have a relation with whatever around you, you can not concentrate on one relation and ignore others. To be a perfect muslim you should work on all these relations at the same time.

المغيث 
‏The absolute helper is Allah

You can pray and ask Allah for his help in solving your problem, and then Allah answers your prayer and sends you your friend for example and this friend shows you how to solve your problem so he helps you, but Allah is your absolute and true helper. In Arabic these two verbs are different 
صَدِيقُكَ سَاعَدَكَ و لَكِنَّ الله أَغَاثَك ، فالله هو مُغِيثُكَ فيِ كُلِّ حِين

Prophet Mohammad peace upon him was our guide, but our true helper is Allah .. in Arabic both helps are different, we do not say prophet Mohammad is مُغيثُنا , but Allah is our true helper all time, in all situations, in all places, no matter if you have a big or a small problem, if that problem is related to your health, to your family, to money, to learning, with people or with your own self, Allah is مُغيثُنا

I did not assume anything, I just say the verb help in Arabic has different forms or verbs, ساعد ، أعان ، أغاث but the form of المغيث we use it only with Allah, just that. And no I am not married ☺️

And yes there are many opinions because muslim scholars are humans with different knowledge, they might understand things in different ways. For example, when prophet Mohammad peace upon him said to his companions do not pray Asr prayer until you reach banu quraitha (A name of a group of Jews) .. Sahaba understood his order in 2 different ways. One group prayed Asr on time and said that prophet Mohammad just wanted us to harry up and he did not really wanted us to not pray Asr on time, so even If we have not reached banu quraithah yet but we pray Asr on time. The other group understood to delay Asr prayer so they prayed it when they reached banu quraithah after Maghreb prayer. And prophet Mohammad peace be upon him did not deny any. So Muslims could understand things in different ways and the most important to have good knowledge in Quran and sunnah and the opinion of famous muslim scholars to agree with one group according to your knowledge, not to agree with one group because just that agrees with your own desires ☺️

I read now what is the opinion of sunnah scholars about ihya ulum id din and Al-Ghazali. they say the book has some right informations but it has a lot of hadiths that prophet mohammad never said (أحاديث موضوعة) and old stories that never happened but was invented. And he has much philosophy that is not related to Islam but he used some Islamic words to make these philosophies look Islamic. So they take from this book what goes with the teaching of Islam and leave all what is not the teaching of Islam, and they do not advice any normal person who has a little knowledge in Quran and sunnah to read it because he might be mislead. And they ignore some of his books and writings at all because they do not go with the beliefs of أهل السنة و الجماعة .. they prefer to not judge him as person and leave him for Allah, and they just take from him what is not opposed to Islam teachings or not just a philosophy that he said or believed without any Islamic references.
