What does “giving someone a knuckle sandwich” mean?
Can we say “giving someone two knuckle sandwiches”, “giving someone three knuckle sandwiches”, and so on?

@charles_600301: This is an old saying. I don't think many people use it much anymore. A "knuckle sandwich" would be a punch. As in, someone is going to punch another person in the mouth. The mouth eats the knuckles of the fist like a sandwich.

I think you would see this in comedy movies or TV shows. Or in older ones. Something like "The Three Stooges" or an old show about the southern USA. You may also hear someone talking this way with children to be humorous/funny.

@ScottNDog Can we say “giving someone a knuckle hamburger” as a way of expressing a more powerful punch in the mouth because a hamburger is usually bigger than a sandwich?

Hmmmm. If you are talking to someone that would know the phrase, then you could do that to be funny.

I have personally used the phrase "I'm going to give you a knuckle sandwich" several times in my life. Or, as people may say where I live.

"imma give ya a knuckle sammichg" (like sandwich, but take out the w and add a g kind of sound at the end)
