Even british people can dislike other regional accents , example london accent and Liverpool are very different and tend to be divide opinion !

I've noticed that in general, the British accent (not that there's just one) is considered sophisticated and is quite liked by Americans.

American accent is far more phonetic, so it's simpler to understand.
However, some regions in America is known for being very loud and that is the part that annoys me, less the inflection and more the pitch.
