Crack a smile is when someone has a straight face, and they start to smile as in "You started to crack a smile after my joke." Come up with is to think of an original idea as in "How did you come up with the idea for your new phone?" The other meaning is that you found something or obtained or didnt obtain something as in "he tried his best, but still came up empty handed."

An example sentence for “crack a smile” would be something like... “Why do yo look so down? C’mon crack a smile!”
As for your other question I’m not too confident that I can answer “come up with.”
