You can add ‘come stai? / come va?’ (How are you?).
Or do you mean how to reply after someone says you ‘ciao’?

it sounds like some dialect from southern Italy. but I'm not sure at all 笑
Rather than not common, I'd say it's not Italian at all...
If it was Sicilian, 'a viremu (which sounds similar), could mean something like "we're going to see", but if I had to guess, it could be something like 'see you' in some dialect?

It's an uncle who seems to be a mafia in Roma says to his nephew to greet.
It might be a pet name for his nephew. But his name is Primo, so it may be not.

@Lin2n ah, I see. I think I've understood it now. If you say 'oh Primo, it's like a kind of salutation for someone called Primo. Like hey, Primo!

@snl Yes, I have no idea how it works, but it could be the nephew's pet name in their ways.

@Lin2n saying 'oh' before someone's name is a typical Sicilian way to address them, as far as I know, so after you told me the name was Primo, I thought it could be "oh Primo!"

@snl Yes, I guess you are right. It still sound like 'Oglim' instead of 'Oh primo' to me, but it does seem to call his nephew in a way. :)
