Domande Inglese (Stati Uniti)
Are these natural?
1 Could I make a reservation for the morning of (on?) next Saturday?
2 Could I make a reservation for 10 to 12 of (in?) the morning of next Saturday?
3 Could I use your tennis court (on?) the morning of next Saturday?
Indicating time, day and date can be so confusing, especially 'reservation' comes in,
because suddenly you start using 'for' instead of on/in/at. ???

1. "Could I make a reservation for the morning of next Saturday?" or "could I make a reservation for the morning next Saturday?" are both okay.
2. "Could I make a reservation for 10 to 12 in the morning next Saturday."
3. "Could I use your tennis court the morning of next Saturday?" or "could I use your tennis court in the morning next Saturday?"

These could be used a couple of different ways.
1. "... on the morning of ..."
"... for the morning of ..."
"... for next Saturday morning ..."
2. "... in the morning ..."
"... at 10 to 12 next Saturday morning ..." (more natural and same for #3)

It might help you learn how to structure the date/times if you try answering a question:
Q. For what day and time do you want to make a reservation?
A. Next Saturday morning.
A2. Next Saturday morning, from 10 to 12.
Q2. When do you want to use the tennis court?
A. Next Saturday morning.
So:
1. Could I make a reservation for next Saturday morning?
2. Could I make a reservation for next Saturday morning, from 10 to 12?
3. Could I use your tennis court next Saturday morning?

Thank you so much for so many great comments.
My honest feeling is, a little over whelmed, this thing can be so subtle.
"...the morning of next Saturday", and "in the morning next Saturday" are both OK.
But "the morning next Saturday" sounds unnatural.
I also learned the simplest way is usually most natural too.
So I' ll try to use "next Saturday morning" style as much as possible.
Thanks again.
