Domande Giapponese
Hey! So I was looking up examples of sentences about "forgetting", and I came across this sentence-
とても物心を忘れやすい。
The translation given was "He's very forgetful of things". I looked up the different parts of the sentence, and was lost on why it is ordered the way it is, and why 物心を (awareness) is referenced in there. If someone could explain how this sentence works, that would be great. Thanks!

" and was lost on why it is ordered the way it is"
Japanese has a very different grammar structure than English
"And why 物心 (awareness) is referenced in there"
物心 means "awareness of things around one"
So... if he is very forgetful ... he isn't very aware is he?

とても物心を忘れやすい。
I think this sentence was made by non-natives.
We always say “物心”+”つく”. “物心がついた頃” “物心がつかないうち” They are idioms. We never say “物心を忘れる”.
