يُخَادِعُونَ اللّٰهَ وَالَّذٖينَ اٰمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ اِلَّا اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا
يَشْعُرُونَ
اَلَا اِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلٰكِنْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
What’s the difference between ما يشعرون and لا يشعرون?
And what does the difference indicate for?

لا is to negate a verb in general
ex: He does ..... يفعل
negation ... He doesn't ... لا يفعل
ما is to negate a continuous verb or something that's happening now
ex: He is doing ,,,,, هو يفعل
negation ..... He's not doing ...... ما يفعل

ما يشعرون = they don't feel in the present
لا يشعرون = they don't fell and won't feel
you know..one of their personalities
that they don't feel so they can't feel ever
negates the verb ما يشعرون so I think
now
but
states that they don't feel لا يشعرون
yes and they can't so they won't
so that Allah negates the act of them in the present and the future to ensure it

@the_sophisticated no we do not, we use kind of simplified Arabic, they call it Modern Standard Arabic, it doesn't have such details at all :(
I prefer the old Arabic it's very rich and beautiful
